Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
The demand for health professionals to obtain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and additional therapeutic skills to assist their clients or patients is ever increasing. The Centre for Stress Management provides suitable courses for CPD. The United Kingdom NICE guidelines recommend evidence based therapies for the treatment of depression and anxiety-related disorders. The published research highlights how the Cognitive Behavioural Approach is effective in treating a range of disorders.
The Centre for Stress Management has been providing Cognitive Behavioural training for health and caring professionals since 1987. Two courses have become popular in this time. The 2-day Primary Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Training (module 1) and the 3-day Primary Certificate in Advanced Cognitive Behavioural Skills (module 2). These two courses form the full Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. These courses provide knowledge and skills training for health professionals.
